dock – Chrome not opening as frontmost window

Right now I am noticing bizarre habits with Google Chrome. If I cover Chrome, then click on on its Dock icon, it does not open because the front-most software. As a substitute, it is the second software within the stacking order. If I click on once more on the icon I can see it come to the entrance momentarily, then pops again below the entrance software.

I can convey it to the entrance by clicking on the browser window. Additionally, if I as a substitute use “Present” from the right-click menu within the Dock, it brings it to the entrance correctly. If I elevate one other software in entrance of it, after which click on on the Dock icon, it involves the entrance correctly; the bug solely occurs when Chrome is hidden.

It does not occur if I exploit the Cmd-Tab software switcher to unhide Chrome. And if I stop Chrome utterly, it opens within the entrance appropriately once I launch it.

Yesterday night I up to date Google Chrome to the newest official construct, 134.0.6998.89. And later final night time I up to date MacOS to fifteen.3.2. I am not sure which of those adjustments coincides with the change in habits, however I do not suppose I observed it within the few hours between the 2 updates.

I am not seeing this with every other purposes.

Has anybody else seen this, and have you ever discovered a option to restore the correct habits?
